Michaelmas Term was a busy one for the Schola Abelis, with a new intake of student singers. As has become usual, they tend to be graduate students. Our numbers at events have been up to ten, which is a lot for a chant schola.
We have this term focused on Oxford venues: the Mass we accompanied in Blackfriars is captured above; the one in St Benet's Hall, below.

We also sang in SS Gregory & Augustine's in the Woodstock Road, and, for the first time, in Holy Rood, Abingdon Road, thanks to the generosity of Fr Daniel Lloyd, who was also the celebrant (below).

We sang with a number of different cantors: Christopher Hodkinson, Brian Sudlow, Thomas Neal, and Matthew Schellhorn, while practicing with Daniel Tate.
We have an even more interesting and busy schedule arranged for next term, which I will be posting shortly.
