Freshers' Fair and First Mass of the year
We were off to a flying start with Mass on Saturday and on Sunday of 1st Week. First, the very impressive High Mass in the Dominican Rite at Blackfriars,
followed by a procession through Oxford, with lots of Gregorian Chant, which even gained the attention of the Oxford Student newspaper: 'Catholics erect gibbet on Holywell Street'.
Then, the next day, High Mass in SS Gregory and Augustine's in the Woodstock Road.

I love Gregorian chant generally. This singing really elevates the Holy Mass, takes it to a higher, more mystical level.
